Our Discipleship Program
Every man who enters one of the Jeremiah Tree's properties has a unique personality, history, and future. Because of this diversity, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to helping someone overcome drug and alcohol addictions, riotous living, or any other issues that may have led to his current hopeless situation.
During the first 14 to 30 days of residency at the Jeremiah Tree, each man undergoes a thorough assessment and is presented with a personalized Discipleship plan. We are proud to report that nearly 90% of the men who complete this initial period go on to embrace the Abundant Life that Christ promises in John 10:10.
While each man's journey and Discipleship plan are unique, and his version of the Abundant Life may differ, it can be challenging to define what success looks like for each individual. However, we have identified five key characteristics that all successful Jeremiah Tree residents share.

Living an Abundant Life means finding healing, or at least the beginning of healing, for one's past in Jesus Christ.
Living an Abundant Life means building a network of new friends in the faith community and setting rigid boundaries with old friends.

Living an Abundant Life means building a solid work ethic.
Living an Abundant Life means allowing the Word of God to guide their present and future actions.

Living an Abundant Life means finding one's present and future identity in one's saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
Jeremiah Tree Abundant Life Bracelet
The Jeremiah Tree Abundant Life Bracelet is more than just a piece of jewelry—it's a powerful symbol of transformation, faith, and hope. This bracelet is awarded to anyone who has spent time as part of the Jeremiah Tree Ministry, whether as a resident, volunteer, or staff member. It signifies the journey from darkness into light, from death into life, and from a life of chaos to one of abundant life in Christ Jesus.
While the Jeremiah Tree plays an essential role in guiding men toward this abundant life, we recognize that God's work is not confined to our walls. Some men have left before reaching graduation, but through the churches and fellow Christians who continue to support and minister to them, they, too, step into the fullness of life in Christ.
When you see someone wearing the Abundant Life Bracelet, know that you are witnessing a testimony of God's transformative power. Each person who wears this bracelet has a story—a story of redemption, healing, and renewal that you will want to hear. It is a constant reminder that Christ's promise of abundant life is for everyone, and the journey toward it is worth every step.
We wear it proudly, we wear it as a reminder, and we wear it as a declaration of God's grace at work in the lives of those who seek Him.
